The WNPA Board of Directors is seeking new members, looking to ensure a diversity of voices, representation of papers large and small, and from across all regions of Washington State, ensuring the breadth of communities served by our newspaper members are represented.
There are currently openings on the board of directors, as well as on task forces and committees that require a shorter time frame of commitment. Board roles are three year roles, requiring, typically, quarterly meetings.
The Board directs the organization's sole employee, its Executive Director, and is responsible for oversight of the WNPA finances, its convention and awards contest, and bringing resources to its members.
Nominations to board service can be made by any one member of the board, or by a joint nomination of 10 of our member papers.
