Program and registration details for the 123rd annual WNPA convention, Sept. 30-Oct. 1, 2010, at the Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel, Wenatchee, have been announced by the WNPA Convention & Workshops Committee.

Sept. 3 is the deadline for early-bird registration and hotel reservations. Sept. 17 is the final registration deadline.

NEW ONAC has a schedule conflict and will not attend the 2010 convention. Look for them at the convention next year.

Visitor Activities

2009 Convention Highlights

The 122nd annual convention, held Oct. 1-3, 2009, at the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia, drew more than 200 participants. Convention & Workshops Committee chair was Manfred Tempelmayr, president of Sound Publishing Inc., Poulsbo. Click here to see a roster of the 2009-2010 officers and trustees installed at the Awards and Officer Installation luncheon Oct. 2. Frank W. Garred, former publisher of The Port Townsend Leader and founding director of the Washington Coalition for Open Government, received the Freedom's Light Award. Dave Pinkham, retired publisher of the Stanwood/Camano News, received the Miles Turnbull Master Editor/Publisher Award.
